*Bella arrived at Pet Refuge with her five tiny puppies, fleeing a violent, drug-affected home. Exhausted, emaciated, and battling a serious infection, she needed urgent care while her puppies relied on hand-feeding and constant monitoring.

Over the holiday season, calls for help increase, and many pets arrive in urgent, unpredictable situations. Puppies like these are a wonderful surprise, but they also highlight how much intensive, unexpected care is required to keep pets safe. Your donation today will help cover the costs of the unexpected and allow us to stay agile to every pet’s needs.

From day one, the puppies have been closely monitored for drug related symptoms, and other developmental issues. As they grow, they will also need vaccinations, deworming, desexing, nutrition support, socialisation and their first steps in training.
