Enrichment is an important part of every pet’s stay with Pet Refuge. Toys and play provide mental stimulation, help reduce boredom and stress, encourage natural behaviours, and can offer comfort and familiarity while pets are away from their families.
Your gift can help provide toys for pets to play with and enjoy throughout their stay, alongside other enrichment activities delivered by our Shelter Team. And when it’s time to reunite with their family, their toys can go home with them in their take-home pack — providing something familiar to enjoy as they settle back into life together.
By gifting a toy, you’re giving a pet more than something to play with. You’re giving them comfort, enrichment and a little extra joy while they’re safely in our care.
