Safe Beds for Pets™
Give a pet a safe bed for $25 a month. Your donation will cover shelter expenses such as a safe place to sleep at night, warmth, bedding, enrichment and exercise, transport, vet healthcare, animal behaviour therapy, and the cost of expert animal carers and case workers who will be a vital part of the shelter.
Families escaping domestic violence will know their beloved pets are safe, while they find violence-free homes.

While our love is free, the cost of caring for pets affected by family violence is not.
Donations – large or small – will help us keep these adored family members safe, healthy and cared for. Please give now and support our mission to remove a major barrier to pets and their families escaping domestic violence.
Fundraise for us
If you would rather give your time, effort and ideas, we would appreciate any fundraising efforts to help us support pets affected by family violence.
We can work with you to develop your fundraising event or initiative. We can supply an informational booklet and collection buckets, and possibly a speaker to tell the Pet Refuge story and share how supporting us will make an impact.

Make a Bequest
Let your love for animals be your legacy. Leaving a bequest to the Pet Refuge New Zealand Charitable Trust means you can make a lasting difference.
A bequest is a gift made in a person’s Will. It can include money, shares, real estate or anything else that they would like to pass on when they pass away.
Dedicating a bequest to Pet Refuge will ensure we are able to care for vulnerable pets and make a difference to the lives of families who live with violence.

Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Pet Refuge.
The Pet Refuge shelter will be closed to the public, to ensure the safety and security of the pets we care for and their owners. If you are wanting to volunteer in any other capacity, please email [email protected] with your name, number, location and how you would like to help.

100% of proceeds are donated to Pet Refuge, helping more pets and their families escape domestic violence sooner.
Dedications
By donating $250 to the Pet Refuge shelter, you can have your name or company listed on our Honours board in the shelter.
By donating $2,500 you can sponsor a cat or dog enclosure for 5 years and have any name engraved.
