• What are my options for leaving a bequest to your charity in my will?

  • Pecuniary: This option allows you to leave a specified sum of money to Pet Refuge in your Will.
  • Specified bequest: This is where a particular item of value is given to Pet Refuge in your Will (for example, stocks and shares, property or works of art).
  • Residuary: This involves gifting whatever is left over, or a percentage thereof (the residue), from your estate, after all expenses and debts have been settled and your beloved ones are provided for.
• What is the best way to word my bequest in my will?

  You can either fill in the form above or email info@petrefuge.org.nz, and we will send you our suggested Will wording to give to your solicitor.

• Do I need to notify you if I leave a bequest?
